Overview

Web Table Exporter is a Chrome extension that detects and exports tables from web pages. Your privacy is simple: we don't collect, store, or transmit your data.

Data We Do Not Collect

No personal information
No browsing history or page URLs
No table content or exported data
No analytics, tracking pixels, or telemetry
No cookies for tracking purposes

How the Extension Works

All table detection, preview, and export processing happens entirely within your browser. Table data is never sent to any server. Exported files are saved directly to your device or copied to your clipboard.

License Validation

If you purchase a license, the extension sends your license key to our payment provider (Dodo Payments) to verify it is valid. This request contains only the license key — no browsing data, table content, or personal information is included.

Your license key is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API.

Checkout

When you purchase a license, you are redirected to a checkout page hosted by our payment provider. We do not process or store any payment information (credit card numbers, billing addresses, etc.) ourselves.

Data Stored Locally

The extension stores the following in your browser's local storage:

License key (if purchased)
Free export count
Last validation timestamp

This data never leaves your device. You can clear it at any time by removing the extension.

Third-Party Services

The extension interacts with two external services:

Dodo Payments — for license validation and activation only
Google Sheets — when you choose the Sheets export, the extension opens a new Google Sheet in your browser. No data is sent to Google by the extension; you paste the data yourself.

Permissions Used

activeTab — access the current page to detect tables when you activate the extension
clipboardWrite — copy table data to your clipboard
scripting — inject the table detection script into the active page
storage — store your license key and export count locally

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, the changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. The extension itself will not change how it handles data without a corresponding update to this policy.
